About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and curious Test Automation Lead who loves to build reliable systems and is passionate about quality. In this hybrid role, you’ll focus on leading a quality program including creating and maintaining test plans and automation frameworks while also contributing to quality assurance through manual and exploratory testing. Reporting to our VP of Technology, you'll work closely with our development and product teams to ensure our applications run smoothly, perform reliably, and scale efficiently.
What You'll Do
Build and own a quality program for our software applications
Design testing strategies that ensure software quality, reliability, and performance
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web-based and mobile applications
Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify risks and ensure test coverage
Execute automated and manual test cases for new and existing features
Identify, document, and drive bugs through to resolution
Support continuous integration pipelines and work with DevOps to ensure test automation is integrated into deployment cycles
Help define QA metrics and reporting to improve transparency and quality decision-making
What We are Looking For
5-8 Years experience in requirements gathering and test planning, execution, and reporting
Strong hands-on experience with modern E2E automation frameworks such as Playwright
Solid understanding of Angular, C#/.NET, and API testing
Ability to design scalable, maintainable test automation architectures
Experience integrating tests into GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
Strong skills in test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layers
Excellend of iOS build/testing workflows (signing, provisioning, pipelines)
Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across Dev, QA, and Product teams
Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Clear communicator who drives quality, documentation, and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
An independent, resourceful, and persistent mentality in identifying root causes, resolving issues and ensuring the highest level of quality
Experience with service monitoring and alerting strongly desired
Curiosity or passion for travel, aviation or weather science is an asset
